A La Carte Menu and house-made baking. Our bespoke café encourages a unique eating experience. Please feel free to wander through the historic house or visit the gardens whilst you’re here.

A LA CARTE MENU

 

Toasted Sandwich.  Two fillings for $6.50

Ham, cheese, tomato, onion, pineapple

Additional fillings $1 each

Chia Seed Treat. Berry compote, topped with nutty granola.

Accompanied with seasonal fruit and coconut yoghurt (Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free) $12.50 

 

Poached Eggs on Toast.  Served with a side of hollandaise. 

(Gluten Free toast available) $13.00

In-House Soup. Created with seasonal ingredients, served with toasted breads.

Creamy Mushrooms. Sauté mushrooms tossed in a coconut sauce.

Laid on toasted sourdough and rye atop baby lettuce and puffed buckwheat.

House-Made Salads.  $22.50

Baby lettuce, cherry tomatoes, almond flakes, mango and peach chutney, French dressing

 

Complete your salad by adding one of the following toppings:

Pumpkin, chickpeas, sundried tomato topped with minted coconut yoghurt.

Green Eggs and Ham. Toasted sourdough with baby lettuce, grilled ham and two poached eggs. Topped with green herb hollandaise, and sprinkled with pink peppercorns.

Halloumi Salad. A mix of baby lettuce, fennel, couscous, and cherry tomatoes. Tossed with mango chutney and French dressing. Three slices of grilled halloumi. (Gluten Free) $23.00

Add prosciutto (cured dried ham strips)  (Gluten Free) $24.50

 

Frumpet Stack. Fluffy French toast Crumpets. Served with banana and seasonal fruit.

Assembled with toffee apple slices, whipped cream, poached berries and maple syrup.

(Crumpets are pan-fried in an egg mix with cream, cinnamon and vanilla) $24.50

Citrus Cured Salmon Gravlax. Baby lettuce topped with rosettes of citrus-cured salmon served with two kumara rosti’s and two poached eggs. Hollandaise sauce is gently poured over the eggs and sprinkled with our homemade almond Dukkah.

Garden Roast.  Assortment of roasted and seasonal vegetables.

White sauce and gravy or hollandaise are available on request (Gluten Free)

 

Roast Meal. Tender oven-roasted meat served with a selection of roasted and seasonal vegetables.

The white sauce and gravy are gluten-free.   $25.50

 

Garden Grill. Roasted tomato, potato hash, saute mushrooms and pan-fried beetroot.

Served on toasted sourdough with your choice of onion jam or tomato relish.

Add two eggs or two slices of Halloumi  $25.50

 

All Day Grill. Roasted Tomato, Bacon, grilled Sausage, potato hash, a garnish of sauteed Mushrooms and poached eggs. Topped with fried onion rings

Served on toasted sourdough with your choice of onion jam or tomato relish.   $26.50

 

Ora King Salmon. Pan-seared then oven baked.

Served on a bed of seasonal vegetables, and topped with cauliflower miso sauce.

Senior Special Two-Course Roast Meal  Tender oven-roasted meat served with a selection of roasted and seasonal vegetables. The white sauce and gravy are gluten-free.

Followed by a choice of dessert. Please ask your Server for today’s options
